Autumn Days

I love Autumn weather. Layering, boots and beanies are the top reasons shortly followed by warm mugs of coffee and Sunday sleep-ins. This year Autumn also signalled the chance to break out my Kenzo jumper. Paired with my new Hello Parry Skort (I simply could not wait for Zara to ship in the infamous item in white), the jumper is perfect either on or around my waist.

In other news I will be pooling together my warmest items to pack in my carry-on for my upcoming trip to Melbourne (eeep!). For someone who refuses to wear stockings until June 1st, this is proving to be quite the challenge. If anyone has any tips for must-do's in Melbourne, please let me know in the comments! Also look forward to a photo diary in the coming weeks!

Fashion Weekend

I have come to the conclusion that I am officially the worst saver ever. Despite vowing I would not buy any new clothes in preparation for my upcoming weekend trip to Melbourne (!!!), I caved. The culprit? Fashion Weekend 2013.
I may have parted ways with some of my hard earned cash, but I certainly did score some bargins, and left eight new items, all for under $200.
Between my new buys and a pre-Fashion Weekend fuel stop at my favourite cafe Kawa, I say it is money well spent. Sorry Melbourne.

Happy Mothers Day

Put together this little set up for my beautiful Mummy for Mothers Day.
She is my design and fashion inspiration!
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!

The Shortlist

One of the many reasons why I love Uni is its close proximity to numerous cute cafes. Darlington, Redfern, Glebe, Newtown and Surry Hills are all within walking distance, which is perfect for cafe hoping during breaks! Today my friend Zina and I visited one of our favourite coffee spots, The Shortlist in Darlington, and enjoyed brunch and coffee and a honey-infused chai latte.

Sunday Funday

This infamous ZARA skort has been making the rounds in the blogger world, and has been increasingly hard to find! Dismayed I purchased a white copy from Hello Parry (On pre-order now).
However whilst I was shopping at Zara Bondi Junction today I actually found a black skort in small! I was so excited, I practically started jumping up and down in the store!
The skort is perfect- the asymmetrical hemline adds a little something extra to any outfit, and works perfectly with my numerous stripy tees. I love it so much I don't want to take it off!

Pottery Barn

The US homewares company Pottery Barn finally opened in Australia this week!
The Bondi Junction store is massive and includes Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Williams & Sonoma and West Elm. After spending a good hour in the store, I picked up a couple of great purchases, including a star pillow case and some pretty candle holders. I will definitely return once the crowds are a little less crazy!

Collegiate

So in love with my new Hart of Neon top from General Pants!
I have always been obsessed with anything collegiate, and lately I have been seeing jock inspired tees everywhere!

Jeffrey Campbell Love

Waiting for a new online purchase sometimes feel like forever- especially when your waiting for something as magical as these Jeffrey Campbell cut out boots. Whilst waiting for them I had numerous occasions when I knew these shoes would just be perfect- such as one particular day that took me from Uni to Topshop to a cafe back to uni and then to a bar  for a friends birthday. Case in point- these boots are perfect from hopping from place to place, from casual to dressy. Im in love.

Endless Summer

Despite approaching the middle of Autumn, we have been having some unseasonably warm weather in Sydney. To make the most of it, I headed down to Bondi Beach for a cafe brunch, some relaxation and impromptu photoshoot.

MBFWA Day 2

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia moved to a new home this year at Carriage Works. The grungy  feel of the venue worked well- and conveniently is located just up the road from my Uni.

Rushing from class to fashion shows in the rain also required a convenient outfit- my Gorman Raincoat, One Teaspoon tee, Shakuhachi skirt and my trusty Frye Boots.

After a morning of classes and shows my friend Z and I stopped by one of our favourite Redfern coffee spots, Cafe Ella. Salads, bagels and coffee over mags and fashion chat sustained us until we ran back to uni for afternoon lectures.

On the final day of MBFWA, B and I headed to the Group Swim After Party at Hugo's Lounge King's Cross. Cocktails and mingling was the perfect way to end the week!

BONJOUR

Welcome to the Dreamers Collective.

I am a University student, fashion magazine intern and all round dreamer.

My perfect day consists of coffee, cafe hopping, clothes shopping and watching the sun set.

My mantra is you can never own too many magazines, books or clothes.
